Thanks for the support. Display: Samsung Odyssey G7 now working after fixing my DisplayPort issue. There’s another one… just turned on HDR and the screen behaves strangely. It looks stretched like an ultra-wide display with no reason. Can someone assist? I want to use HDR when it’s available, but it becomes unplayable. Also, switching from 240Hz to 120Hz with HDR still causes this problem, even after restarting multiple times.

Display screenshots during each mode would assist in identifying issues. GPU details and connection method are also useful. General information would be appreciated.

It's strange that HDR could be the main cause of display problems, but I notice some possible concerns. My first thought is to check that the device drivers and firmware are current. You can find updates at the provided link for your model. If you're using another monitor, there should be a specific support page for it. For more issues, we can troubleshoot together—usually these kinds of problems relate to drivers. Good luck, Odin.

I own the 32-inch model and experienced the same issue two years prior until I installed the latest firmware. Note that this monitor uses a dedicated USB-A port for firmware updates, which is typically reachable via Windows. However, access is limited during the update process. Since reaching it can be inconvenient if the monitor is mounted, consider inserting a small USB drive and leaving it until you need the upgrade again.
