Issues with Zotac Gaming RTX 3070 Twin Edge performance
Hi, a couple of months ago I assembled my PC. Until about two weeks ago, everything worked fine. Then the GPU would suddenly black out and lose all signal. This only happened when running demanding games or programs, and I was seeing kernel power id: 41 63. I tried troubleshooting repeatedly, but the crashes got more frequent—especially in browsers, and even the BIOS went black. I updated the BIOS, drivers, and Windows, and ran a memory test that booted from USB. At test number 7 it crashed again. The audio stayed on, the fans were running, and the computer kept responding. This ruled out PSU issues or other hardware problems. I reached out to Zotac support and ran several benchmarks, but the computer always crashed when the GPU was active. It doesn’t matter what’s being tested inside the GPU—whether it’s VRAM or the core—it only freezes during GPU usage. I’m confused about why it crashes during a memory test that starts from USB. Anyone else have experienced something similar?
The RAM test didn't pass, and you suspect the graphics card might be the problem.
Yes, I did that. I was confused because I thought the other test wasn’t working, but it passed fine.
