Issues with YouTube videos on browser
Hello,
My internet connection is very fast and stable, running on Windows 11 with a gaming PC.
I’m experiencing problems with the YouTube video player in Edge, Opera, and Chrome.
I usually get under 1 gigabit per second for downloads and around 700 megabits per second for uploads.
Other platforms like Twitch, Kick, and most websites with videos don’t seem to have issues.
However, YouTube videos take a long time to start playing—sometimes over 25 to 30 seconds.
I suspect there might be something wrong with my YouTube setup, and I really want it fixed.
Have anyone encountered this before? What steps could I try?
I’ve restarted my PC and cleared DNS and cache, tried different cookies and accounts, even used lower resolution, but the issue persists.
Here’s a screenshot of what happens when I try to play a video: the insert media doesn’t work.
This might be a simple question, but I’m not very experienced with these things.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Check system performance using Task Manager and Resource Monitor when YouTube isn't active. Run both tools simultaneously but only one at a time, keeping the windows open while watching other content. Observe resource usage and identify any changes.
For further analysis, consider using Process Explorer (free) to investigate background processes. More details at the provided link.
