Issues with your WiFi connection
You've tried everything—updated drivers, cleared out malware, removed antivirus and smartbyte—but still facing slow speeds. Your 1550 Wi-Fi card isn't delivering the expected performance. Consider checking your router settings, ensuring it's using the latest firmware, or testing with another device to rule out hardware issues.

I have a 1435 model, it functions correctly, but the performance is quite poor given the new chip. It seems your router might be outdated, as the chip doesn't support 802.11 h/v/r/w. You could test with Ethernet to confirm the router's status, and/or verify the chip's operation. Hopefully this resolves the issue and gets it fixed.
Choose the 5GHz network for better performance, then verify again. While 2.4GHz works well within a short distance, 5GHz provides faster speeds thanks to its higher-frequency capabilities.
I’m completely confused about connecting to the incorrect WiFi network. It’s unclear why this happened or how it occurred. However, I’m now experiencing at least 20mb per second, which is slower than most users, though my typical speed is significantly higher than 3mb per second.
