Good morning! I’m working on fixing my PC from scratch using only my limited experience and YouTube guidance. My setup includes an MSI MPG B650 Edge WiFi board, an RTX 4080, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a Samsung 990 M.2 SSD. All drivers are up to date, RAM speed is optimized, CPU drivers are current, and the motherboard has been flashed with the latest BIOS.
I’m facing problems with USB ports on both the front and rear panels—power drops unexpectedly during games, and when I switch to my second monitor via Alt+Tab it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I’ve checked the Device Manager for any settings that might disable USB power management, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I’m also curious if there’s a mistake in connecting something or if the motherboard itself is faulty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
