This situation seems unusual. My touchpad stopped functioning on Linux, while the mouse continued to operate normally. The issue appeared suddenly after a few hours, and even after restarting, it persisted. Initially, I suspected water damage from a spill, but it didn’t resolve quickly. Now I’m puzzled because the problem only affected one operating system. It’s strange that it works on Windows but not Linux. What might have caused this? I’m considering possible fixes like reinstalling drivers, but I’m unsure what else to try.
