Issues with the USB port PCB for the keyboard
Hello,
I own an old Ducky Shine 3 with a backlit display. The USB-Mini-B port has become unstable, which prompted my decision to replace it. I purchased a USB-C port PCB from a retailer, but using it to connect the keyboard to my PC results in an overcurrent situation, rendering the keyboard non-functional. I’m confused about why this replacement doesn’t solve the issue and wonder if the backlighting might be the cause. I considered soldering a direct USB cable to the keyboard, as suggested online, but fear it could worsen the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
I'm still thinking about this, no soldering required yet—it's just something I'm looking into. I came across this guide: https://clevercreations.org/how-to-fix-k...-usb-port/
