Hi everyone, I recently got my 6600 xt a few weeks back. I've been experiencing some uneven performance and was hoping to find a fix. When playing Apex, I'm using full settings but sometimes it runs smoothly at 180 fps, while other times it stutters at around 110 fps. I've tried freeSync on and off, used gaming and OC modes from the Asus software, but nothing seems to help. The AMD site says I should be able to hit 180 fps with Apex, yet my tests don't even detect a GPU or SSD—something that worked with my old model. I'm connected via Wi-Fi, which has about 20 ms latency, 53 Mbps download, and 18 Mbps upload. It's not just in games; sometimes apps open slowly and struggle when few are running. I've used the reset button on my case, as it doesn't respond sometimes. Also, AMD keeps warning me that Radeon WattMan settings were restored after an unexpected crash. CPU temps stay around 50-55 during load, GPU around 60, with junction temps between 70-75 under stress. Any advice would be appreciated! Here are my specs: GPU—Asus Dual OC 6600 xt; CPU—i5 11400; RAM—16GB; Corsair LPX 3200 CL16 xMP 3200 at 3200MHz; Motherboard—ASRock B560M Pro 4 A/C; PSU—Corsair CX550M; OS—Windows 10 Education; SSD—Crucial P2 500GB. Thanks!

You might be experiencing performance issues due to background processes consuming resources.

You're seeing a moderate load with most processes running at low usage—around 10% CPU and 40% RAM when idle. That's generally normal for background tasks, but if you're concerned, it might be worth checking specific applications or adjusting resource limits.

It’s significantly higher than what I usually experience while idle. Although my machine is older, the startup program will differ from mine.

I've attempted to use Asus' gaming booster, which reduced processing time by roughly 40%, but I haven't noticed any improvement in performance. It might relate to the GPU or other aspects of your system.

I’m not familiar with it. I haven’t come across that term before.

It's a bit unusual, but thank you for your assistance. I'm willing to run a few more tests and possibly use an Ethernet cable once I have one. I'm hoping to resolve this issue soon. Thanks again.
