Your device seems to have experienced issues due to misalignment of the membrane beneath the keys, but mechanical keyboards function differently with individual switches per key. Cleaning is usually sufficient; only minor problems like hair or dust getting stuck between keycaps and switches might occur, which can be resolved by removing and cleaning them. It took two years for me to have to replace any keys on my machine. The K70 model includes spare keycaps, mainly for QWERTY replacements, and comes with a tool for removing keycaps. Be sure to verify the switch type on your keyboard, as some are quieter than others – see https://switchandclick.com/cherry-mx-guide/. Mechanical keyboards generally cost five to twenty times more than standard membrane keyboards that come with PCs. I own one of these – https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...Ga...9109012-NA, but they recently released a new version – https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...RO...9109410-NA – which appears similar.
