A few months back my email was compromised and their Steam details were altered, resulting in the theft of my items worth around $200. I've reached out to Steam three times but received no resolution. Do you have options left, or am I stuck?

Support from Steam seems terrible, it's really disappointing. I didn't expect to receive a reply from a person.

Reach out to your financial institution, provide them with precise details of the activities and confirm it was unauthorized. They will process a refund for the incident.

He didn't pay anything; he just exchanged my things. I informed Steam about the swap, but they took no action against him.

Alright, seems like you're trying to say something about being filled up.

It all began when your email was compromised, so Steam may not want to intervene. This isn’t their responsibility or issue. Those who act quickly after being hacked inside Steam usually find assistance easier. You can find similar accounts in these forums. Restoring your items won’t be possible. Your account and games might be returned instead.
