I frequently press continue on the main screen, but it keeps cycling back to the main menu. I attempted to lower my GPU driver settings because the problem occurred after upgrading it the day it started. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I'm nearing the end of the game and don't want to restart it.

I didn't mention it was pirated. It's expensive... I'm attempting to set it up on another machine and move the saved files to check functionality.
