Issue: Frequent crashes occur only with Gen 4 storage but not with Gen 3. Diagnostics: Reviewed system settings, reinstalled OS, tried different SSDs, verified Gen 4 drives in another machine to confirm functionality, checked connections, executed diskcheck command, used Samsung Magician tool. I've been working on this for a long time. It seems the problem might be related to my CPU or motherboard handling Gen 4 lanes, not affecting Gen 3. All Gen 3 drives function properly in m.2 slots. CPU is 5600x M.OTHER, motherboard model Asus B550 Prime, GPU 3070. I'm unsure who to consult as this is very specific, and I don't know what to do next—I've only tested one Gen 3 drive that was already used as my boot drive, so it's possible other drives won't work either. Any suggestions on possible causes?

Consider checking the crystal disk information for any readings. Ensure you're using the most recent motherboard BIOS. If the issue persists, it might be related to the CPU, motherboard, or RAM.

Also considering the same idea, refreshing it now but questioning if it’ll solve the problem because it functioned well before problems began, though it might be worth trying.
