For roughly two weeks now, playing games smoothly in fullscreen or borderless mode has stopped when the secondary monitor is connected. The performance remains similar to using just one screen, but the experience feels very choppy and lacks the smoothness of playing in a regular window. The stutters disappear instantly once I disconnect the HDMI cable from the secondary monitor. I don’t recall making any changes that triggered this issue; it seems to appear randomly. After restarting my PC, the problem often disappears only to reappear the next day. I’ve tried several fixes—updating DDU Radeon Software, installing only AMD drivers, closing other programs, adjusting startup settings, disabling adaptive sync, and checking Windows for corruption—but nothing has resolved it. Sometimes I try a different secondary monitor or check for system issues. My current specs are: GPU RX 6650XT, CPU Ryzen 5 3600, 2×16GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro, BIOS latest. I’m considering purchasing a team green card since I don’t have funds. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
