Issues with sleep and your computer can affect your well-being.
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my PC that keep happening every time I put it to sleep. I can't reset it with the physical switch, and it won't turn off either. Once asleep, the fans, CPU, and GPU stay on when they should be sleeping. Also, I need to shut it down using the PSU switch. Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!
Consider disabling wake-on-LAN and wake-on-USB settings in your BIOS for safety. Then check the Device Manager, adjust power management settings for each USB device, and disable them. This usually stops the unwanted activation. HDMI connections can also trigger similar behavior if they're wired to your TV. Searching online for BIOS instructions should help resolve the issue.
Thanks a lot for your assistance—it really means a lot. This is what happens when entering sleep mode: the system powers down, restarts, and you might wonder if it’s a problem.
