Ive been experiencing this weird bug way back in GTA 4 days, but back then it wasnt so annoying so i lived with it, now in GTA 5 its same story but now its very noticeable. This video very well shows what i mean. So im wondering is it just how game engine renders shadows or it cant be fixed, ive tried all ingame graphics settings that affect shadows, anisotropic filtering and those in Nvidia control panel, but no luck.

It seems the discussion is about how game engines manage GPU power usage. Essentially, they limit rendering to a circular area to reduce processing demands, preventing excessive CPU and GPU strain from handling too many calculations.

The game displays itself this way, honestly—it’s pretty uninspired. There’s nothing you can do to alter it, even with the highest settings. It just keeps doing the same thing. A real hassle!

I've encountered a comparable problem; it's a light box that moves around in areas with poor lighting.

I shared this topic a while back ( It bothers me a lot. Sometimes I see a visual box around me where things look correctly rendered, not just shadows. I also noticed this on telephone wires.

I also experience a square-shaped container that appears in shadowy spots, similar to dark pavement.

I don't see any issues; my shadows appear extremely strong and crisp (NVIDIA PPCS is the poorest).
