Hello, I recently set up a new system but have noticed the games freezing on an NVMe drive and occasional crashes. Sometimes it shows a black screen and restarts. What might be causing this? I turned off SAM and it seems to have resolved the game crashes on the NVMe. The specs are: CPU 7800X3D, GPU 4080 msi, motherboard Tuf gaming x670E-plus wifi, RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz, PSU Corsair RM1000x.

Do you have EXPO activated for your RAM? When I first switched to the AM5 platform, I faced similar challenges, and it turned out EXPO was the issue—I could only play games with RAM set to default configurations. It wasn't until ASUS released a BIOS update for my motherboard that things stabilized, allowing me to enable EXPO.

I have EXPO turned on, it usually happens only when I play a game saved on an NVMe drive. I haven't had any crashes after disabling SAM. I plan to keep testing to check if this issue returns.
