I considered purchasing 5600g since it offers a strong GPU, not a graphics card. I found some issues with Ryzen 5 5600G and am worried about buying AMD. I wonder if those problems are fixed with updates. Now I’m thinking about switching to an Intel i3 12100 and need advice.

You mentioned a post from four years ago about problems with a 5600G. Are you looking to connect all the discussions where users have encountered issues with an Intel 12100 or the 12th generation processors in general? It seems like many products have had their share of problems, but the 5600G is widely used and trusted. If you're concerned about a single thread or a specific issue, it's understandable to feel uncertain. The 5600G remains a reliable choice, and the AM4 platform is a dependable setup.

I recommend the 5600G with a quicker DDR4 option such as 3600. It offers powerful built-in graphics.

If you prefer not to play games, you can still achieve a stronger Vegeta 7 graphic by focusing on design elements and visual enhancements.

If gaming isn’t your main focus, you can significantly cut costs with a more affordable system. What will you use the PC for most? Before the 5600G, my fiancée’s rig ran a Ryzen 3 2200G, which is considerably cheaper on the second-hand market since it’s much older.

New or used? If it has issues shutting down unexpectedly, you can return it for repair.
