Issues with RGB fans and headers
Hello everyone, I'm just starting out with this site and need some guidance. I'm trying to upgrade my PC and have most of the components ready by the end of November. It has a Ryzen 7 3700X and an RTX 3070. I currently use a fan controller that manages RGB lighting and fan speeds inside the case. I'm considering a new build but want to avoid buying another AIO fan controller since it would cost extra. My existing setup includes RGB fans, a MasterLIQUID ML240L V2 RGB AIO, and Coolermaster fans for my AIO and Corsair cases. I've noticed that these Coolermaster fans don't work with the RGB controller because they're not ARGB-compatible and need separate headers. The motherboards I'm evaluating (Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite, MSI B550 A PRO, Gigabyte B550 Gaming X) all have only one RGB header that supports fans. This is making me worried about spending more on another AIO if it doesn't fit my needs. Can anyone help me figure this out?
