Hi Guys, I recently bought a refurbished MS Surface Laptop 2 and noticed the screen detachment key isn’t working properly or the screen contacts are having problems. I cleaned the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, but it didn’t fix the issue. Sometimes it works fine, but usually the key keeps flashing, the OS says the screen is ready to detach, and charging stops. After a short delay, it seems to think it’s connected again, then later everything resets. I checked online and found that disabling the Surface DTX device in Device Manager might help, though I can only uninstall the driver. I’m assuming the driver will reinstall on the next boot. I also tried stopping the DTX service in Task Manager and disabling it at startup, but that didn’t work either. Any suggestions? Cheers C
