I recently assembled a gaming PC for the first time. To verify everything functions properly, check performance and gameplay stability. You’ve faced issues with lag and artifacts—review your setup for compatibility and proper configuration.

Compare your performance using benchmarks such as 3D Mark, Unigine, or Cinebench. Run HWMonitor or HWInfo alongside your games to monitor clock speeds and temperatures.

Latest titles include Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and Red Dead Redemption. Appreciate the update, I'll give it a shot.

I was planning to assemble a high-performance PC for gaming at top settings, but I’m questioning whether a 4K monitor was necessary.

The 4070ti isn't really a 4K card, you'd probably choose something like a 7900XT or similar.

You might want to test 1440p scaling from your desktop to check how it appears on that screen.
