I created the system 2-3 weeks ago using these components: MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio 8GB GDDR6, Intel Core i9-9900K, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3600 MHz CL16, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD NVMe M.2 EVGA Supernova g3 850W, Lian Li PC-O11DX Dynamic 6x Corsair ll120mm. When I attempt to enable XMP or manually set it to 3600MHz, it fails to boot. The maximum I can configure is 3200Mhz via BIOS, but CPU-Z reports the DRAM frequency as 1466.7Mhz.

appears to be an advanced issue. please ensure your system has enough memory. open performance in task manager and check how quickly the ram operates—often it seems slower than actual speed. test by connecting one stick to the closest dimm slot to your cpu; if both or neither work well, try the other two slots.

I replaced RAM one piece at a time and only overclocked it up to 3200MHz, but the PC won’t boot.
