Issues with RAM, once more...
Sorry guys, it looks like I’m still having trouble. From your earlier updates, you noticed my RAM wasn’t working properly until I upgraded to Corsair Vengeance CL16 3600mhz. After two days of playing Warzone, I didn’t see any problems and even got some FPS improvements since they run at their intended speed. The 3DMark test also passed without issues. Recently, my PC crashed again, and the dump file suggested a faulty driver was the cause. After the crash, it wouldn’t boot with XMP enabled, so I manually set timings and voltage—this time it ran at 3581, which is higher than before. Now it boots, but I’m not sure what’s triggering the crashes. I’m thinking about a clean Windows install, though I did that three months ago. Any suggestions?
Have you considered performing a RAM diagnostic such as memtest86 or a rigorous CPU stress test like Intel Burn Test, OCCT, or Linpack Extreme? Sometimes the issue lies with the RAM itself. Does the RAM package include a quality level rating and does it match your motherboard specifications?
That's correct, I previously owned a Crucial ballistix RAM and found it less reliable compared to the Corsair model. The Corsair version is available on the QVL but still underperforms the Crucial one, which isn't listed there because it came out after the QVL was established. I haven't performed any memory testing beyond the Windows benchmark.
