I have an ASUS TUF gaming plus X570 board with a Ryzen 3700X CPU. My RAM is a Ryzen Royal series stick at 3600MHz, but I keep seeing blue screens when DOCP mode is on. When DOCP is off, it works fine at 2133MHz. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue now that I’m using the default BIOS settings. Any advice would be appreciated.
If I just change the clock speed from auto to 3600mhz, it doesn't function properly. The RAM voltage remains at 1.2 volts, but it requires 1.35 volts to operate at that frequency. When I set the voltage manually, the system freezes and displays the DRAM error light, preventing any progress.
It seems DDR4-3600 might be a peculiar DRAM multiplier for that ASUS TUF board. Give it a try and check stability, then we can proceed further. Activate DOCP, then adjust the DRAM speed to DDR4-3466 or DDR4-3400 manually. It should follow the DOCP/XMP settings but lower the frequency. Let us hear your results.
