Hi everyone, I'm trying to solve an issue at work. We print many labels in different sizes, but some aren't aligning correctly on one of the computers. All printers are the same, and the labels are stored securely on our server. The problem only affects one computer, which is experiencing a major failure and has lost half of its labels. Have anyone else faced this before and found a fix? Thanks, Sean.

Printers can be quite frustrating, but the first step is checking the printer drivers. Since all your computers print to the same printer, ensure every device in the network uses identical drivers. Ideally, each computer should have the same printer software installed.

Consider adjusting the default margins set by the program on your device. Try printing a page with labels on plain paper, then measure the spacing. Use that measurement to reset the margins. Many users aren't aware there are two types of margins: the hardware margin—what the printer physically can't print—and the software margin—what appears on the printed page. To compare, add a line across the top, left side, and bottom of a test page. Set all margins to zero and print again, adding extra lines if needed. This helps reveal discrepancies. If consistent spacing errors occur, experiment by tweaking columns or rows. Adjusting line spacing or creating new templates can resolve issues. Using misprinted labels for testing is also useful.
