Trident 3 12TH-018CA often restarts unexpectedly. This appears to be a frequent problem, with many discussions on official MSI forums not addressing it. It isn’t related to overheating, as temperatures stay around sixty degrees during random reboots and it doesn’t occur during demanding games. I experience random restarts within an hour of playing Roblox or Minecraft, but RDR2 runs smoothly without any interruptions. Most forum posts suggest a power supply issue, claiming the included unit is too weak. MSI hasn’t responded to this concern. There seems to be no clear solution yet, though the PC can restart while performing tasks—event ID 41 typically occurs, followed by black screen, audio loss, LED lights, and then a spinning circle before normal operation resumes. It’s worth checking if the motherboard or power supply specs match expectations.
