Your amount is quite high, and it seems even more problematic. Would you consider returning it?

That's encouraging. I'm looking forward to trying it.

Consider upgrading cooling and the PSU, or opt for a significantly cooler 14400.

Performance differences weren't apparent. Consider returning to try a fresh setup.

I own a 3070 model and use it for CPU-heavy games such as Valorant and Fortnite. I aim for a FPS of 180 and watch in 1080p resolution.

It doesn't show a clear improvement.

Setting a cap on frames per second limits the processing speed, which might seem counterintuitive for better performance.

Your monitor only supports 180 Hz, but it's still usable. Consider whether you need higher refresh rates before deciding to return.

This implies you don't require an upgraded setup unless you focus on that specific title, which is quite easy to handle. A simple potato can run it without issues. If you aim for tougher games, your CPU might struggle, so a 14400 or 14600 is better because they offer more cores and better performance compared to the 12100's 4-core setup.
