Issues with pfSense and Pi-hole setup.
I chose to switch from Google Wifi(Router) to pfSense to gain a better grasp of my network and explore options. *I’m not very experienced with networking, so I’m looking for guidance. Before installing pfSense, my Pi3 had Pi-Hole running, which was functioning perfectly. Now DNS requests and block list updates are being blocked. I tried adjusting the LAN interface in PF but couldn’t resolve the problem. Then I flashed the Pi3 and attempted a fresh install, but it seems PF is also preventing that update from Github. I’ve tried using PFblocker, which others say works similarly, but it’s still being blocked. I need some assistance here. Let me know if you have any files or details to help.*
I put in my best efforts to make Pi-hole work on my Pi3, but it didn’t go as planned. Switching to Docker on my Plex Server solved the problem smoothly! It’s still puzzling that pfSense is preventing queries from Pi3. Updated: I see Wi-Fi traffic isn’t being blocked by ads... why?
