My PC completed a Windows update and won't start. I used my backup drive to get it running, but it keeps showing a problem. The blue tooth mouse isn't working, though the wireless one is fine. When I try to open files or programs, the bar at the side moves up and down automatically. I tried rolling back to an earlier update, but it says I need to protect the drive before restoring. I searched online for help, but every time I open a file, it jumps to the bottom and it's really frustrating. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have reinstalled Windows 10. I also discovered the cause of my mouse issues was using a 7-port extension; connecting it directly to the computer resolved the problem.
