Issues with overclocking on the Intel Pentium G3258 chip
I own an ASUS H81M+ motherboard, 8GB DDR3 RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GT210 GPU, a 500W power supply, and an Intel Pentium G3258 processor. I began overclocking the stock CPU fan, raising it from 3.2GHz to 3.7GHz with a voltage of 1.1V. After saving changes and restarting, the system booted into Windows 10 loading screen and restarted repeatedly until I reverted to BIOS settings. Someone could assist since others with similar hardware have achieved 4.3GHz without issues.
I have an as us h81m-plus mobo, 8gb of ddr3 ram, a nvidia GeForce gt210 gpu, a 500w psu and an intel pentium g3258. I tried overclocking in BIOS, increasing the cpu fan speed from 3.2ghz to 3.7ghz with 1.1v voltage. After saving changes and restarting, the system would load into Windows 10 and then restart again. This cycle repeated until I reverted to default settings in BIOS. Someone with similar hardware and settings managed to reach 4.3ghz without issues. Move up the voltage.
