: Issues with Overclocking Asus ROG Strix Z390-H
I've purchased the CORSAIR iCUE H100i from Amazon and expect it in a few weeks. Right now, I'm working on adjusting the speed and voltage settings to optimize performance with my inadequate cooler.
I chose NXP II and configured these parameters:
- LLC to 6
- Multiplier to 47
- VCore to 1.225 (stress test shows the hardware monitoring it at 1.250)
I can reach up to 4.7 GHz with temperatures around 75–80 in standard Intel burn mode, but I can't use high mode since it reaches 100°C.
Any suggestions on what to do next?
Discussing how to achieve stability at 5.0GHz with adaptive mode on the ASUS forum thread.

I chose NXP II and configured these parameters:

- VCore to 1.225 (stress test showed the hardware monitor reads 1.250)
Under normal conditions, I can reach up to 4.7 GHz with temperatures around 75–80°C using Intel burn-in in standard mode. However, high mode isn't available because temperatures exceed 100°C.
After some trials, I returned to 4.5 GHz since running the CPU for over 10 minutes (using Video converting with HandBreak) caused the system to reset.
Any suggestions on what to do next?
