bsod's... The absolute worst experience, super annoying and it keeps happening even with a straightforward 4.8ghz overclock. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. My motherboard is the ASUS PRIME Z-370 A II. I have a 1000 watt power supply, so it's not a power problem. I'm trying an overclock that a YouTuber claimed would reach a "definite stable OC" at 4.7ghz, but it's still not consistent. The only reliable setting is the default factory OC. If anyone can assist, that would be great. I'm not the most experienced with overclocking.

Specs:
I7-8700k
ASUS ROG STRIX 2080ti
Corsair Gold 1000watt psu
ASUS PRIME Z-370-A-II
NZXT Kraken x62 Watercooler (fans push-pull on either side of radiator)
16gb DDR4 RAM
Running Windows 10

This really helped. The environment the YouTuber said they were in, with its fail safes, seems to be the cause. I thought I had a bad processor, but now I'm at 5.1 ghz at 1.39v and can go even higher! Thanks a lot—I just needed to clarify my facts!
