You've recently installed a Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP card and are encountering issues with some older games. The specific problems you're facing include:

- In *Simpsons Hit and Run*, the game speeds up unexpectedly during certain sections, causing the car to fly off the road and damaging the vehicle, along with faster smoke effects.
- *World at War* experiences a drop in frame rate, making it less smooth than expected despite running new games at 60fps.
- In *Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour*, tree animations speed up and in-game typing becomes faster, leading to unintended character removals when using backspace.

Someone might know what's causing these issues or how to resolve them. Thank you!

Checking the CPU and Windows version, I believe I can assist with The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Use the download link at http://sharmods.donutteam.com/tools/ (Lucas' Mod manager) and set the frame rate cap to handle physics breaks above 60 frames per second.

Use forcing vsync in NVIDIA drivers for those particular programs. For anything else, rely on a third-party solution to limit FPS.

I'm using an Intel i7-4790k with Windows 10. I'll look into the Hit & Run cap, thank you!

The game is working well now. Do you know any tips for C&C or WaW?

WaW could relate to a Windows 10 issue. My sibling is using it smoothly on Windows 7 with an R7 265 processor.

I investigated the FPS issue and noticed it’s likely affecting C&C as well, especially online where the FPS limit drops and animations fail. There seems to be no option to enforce a specific FPS cap. WaW might be limited by GPU resources rather than being fully optimized.
