Hi, I have a headless server running Plex and using Nvidia GameStream. I’m experiencing several issues with Gamestream. It keeps logging me out, which is frustrating because I need to sign in every time. When streaming locally, I usually only get 720p working. Even though I set the display to 1080p on my Shield TV over a 1Gbit Ethernet connection, it sometimes only streams at 1080p at 60fps. I’m not sure if these problems are unique to my setup or if others have faced similar issues, and I haven’t found much helpful advice elsewhere.

I bought a Nvidia shield android TV to stream games, but I encountered significant input lag when playing even close to the device over Ethernet. Now it’s mainly used for Netflix, YouTube, and watching movies with Kodi on my 5 TB storage. It’s a solid Android gadget, but I’m disappointed it can’t provide a smooth gaming experience from my PC in the same room.

For me, enjoying Witcher 3 meant minimal input lag—it was more about the overall experience. Streaming at 1080p consistently wasn’t always smooth, though I usually just watch videos instead of play games.
