I acquired two HP 586444-001 NC550SFP cards—one for my NAS and one for my PC. The NAS unit is functioning properly, but the PC one appears as an unknown device. I downloaded the driver from HP’s site, but installation fails even after rebooting. Has anyone experienced this problem before? I’m using Windows 11 with a Zen 4 platform.

The linked page appears to provide firmware details for the NIC instead of OS drivers. According to HP's support documentation, compatible Windows versions include Server 2008 (32/64-bit), HPC Server 2008, and various Windows editions. It seems the driver files may not be relevant for Windows 11, as the latest installer is from 2014. External sources list drivers for Windows 11, but they are outdated.
