Motherboard: Asrock Z590 Pro 4
GPU: MSI RTX 3050
CPU: Intel I5 11600K
Memory: T-Force Vulcan Z, 32GB, DDR4, 3600, CL 18-22-22-42, 1.35V (set of 2 sticks)
I upgraded my motherboard, CPU, memory modules, and graphics card for an improvement. However, the system only boots to the BIOS and stops there. My SSD with Windows 10 installed appears as a storage device but lacks boot options. The Boot Priority list is: wind s boot manager.

I had added a pair of memory sticks, but they only produced a blank screen. I discovered they weren’t listed for Asrock compatibility, so I replaced them with the correct ones. These won’t boot together in A2 and B2 slots; I tested each individually. One consistently leads to the boot menu, while the other sometimes shows nothing (possibly faulty stick). Reattempting the non-compatible sticks one by one still gets me to the boot menu.

During startup, the Boot, Dram, and VGA lights flash alternately, then the Boot light activates and remains on until the Boot Menu appears, after which it turns off. The CPU light does not flash.

Only the SSD and an optical CD drive are installed, both appearing in the storage setup. I bought Windows 10 on a flash drive and attempted to boot from that, but there was no change—still no appearance on the storage list. The SSD functions properly in my current system.

My original build was years ago, and I’ve replaced the board, memory, and GPU without issues. I verified all connections, reinserted the GPU, reinstalled the memory sticks, and ensured all CPU pins are straight. I never mixed the two memory pairs; I only tried them separately after the second pair failed.

I’m confused about what to do. Could it be a faulty board or memory? Is the boot failure due to bad hardware or another problem?

Thank you.

System specifications for upgrade are provided. The CPU should be Intel i5 11600K LGA1200, paired with a Cooler Master 212 EVO V2 cooler. The motherboard is an ASRock Z590 Pro 4. RAM includes two Team Group T Force Vulcan Z TLZRD432G3600HC18JBK sticks. Storage options are a Samsung SSD EVO 860 1TB and an MSI Geforce RTX 3050 GPU. The power supply unit is a Corsair TX850, which is approximately ten years old. The chassis used is Thermaltake Chaser MK-I. The operating system is Windows 10, with an MSI MAG273R2 monitor. Upgrading from the current setup involves swapping the CPU to Intel i5 4670K LGA1150, using a Cooler Master 212 EVO cooler, and replacing the motherboard to ASRock Z97 Killer. The RAM will be Corsair Vengeance CMY32GX3M4A1600C9R, consisting of four sticks. The GPU remains MSI Geforce GTX 1650. All other components match the listed details. I acknowledge that if one RAM stick fails, a replacement may be necessary depending on the motherboard condition. I am fine with starting with a single stick as long as it boots correctly. With a fresh installation and no prior issues, how can I confirm the problem isn’t related to the motherboard? Thank you.

Corsair TX850 is around 10 years old and might need replacement. It’s not necessarily a fault, but after that long, it could be a concern.

It happened while I was writing, I didn’t consider it before. I’ll handle it.
Thanks.
