Today I planned to play Minecraft with my friends and set up a server with port forwarding so we could all join together. Even though I followed everything properly, I noticed the 25565 port is blocked. Could you help me understand why? Inbound Rules: Outbound Rules: My provider’s portforward site: Thanks

Checking if 192.168.1.2 is in use and confirming whether bedrock or Java is being utilized.

Verify your Java version by running the command: `java -version` in your terminal or command prompt. This will display the installed version, confirming whether it matches Java 1.8.9.

The only thing I notice is whether the LAN Host IP Address is accurate. Run CMD, type ipconfig, and look for the IPv4 address (usually starts with 192.168). That should be the local IP of your machine, where the server is running, and it needs to match that LAN host IP spot. Not sure if this solves the issue, but it should help clear some confusion hopefully.

You're welcome. I understand you've set up several servers and are curious about the current status. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for your patience!

For a smoother experience, install tailscale on the devices you need to reach and simply enter your server IP from the Tailscale panel into Minecraft and your golden. The free plan supports up to 20 devices plus one subnet router, letting you connect and remotely manage an entire network as if it were directly linked—just as long as a computer on that network is running tailscale configured as a subnet router. Very straightforward setup; I use it often for remote access to my NAS and desktop via RDP.

Devices may use various syntax for similar tasks. The WAN address set to 0.0.0.0 might not be accurate—it seems like a wildcard. I recommend checking http://ipchicken.com to find your actual WAN IP and then enter that in the WAN fields. Hope this assists. Cheers
