Issues with memory and BSODs following motherboard and RAM swaps.
Hello everyone, I recently assembled a new PC using the NZXT N7 Z590, an i5 11600k processor, and some Patriot Viper 2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM. On Windows, the system frequently displayed blue screens related to memory issues such as IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors. After replacing the RAM, the same problems persisted, leading me to suspect a faulty motherboard. I tested different DIMM slots without success. To ensure the RAM wasn’t the culprit, I tried it in an older AMD system (Ryzen 5 2600X) using the same GPU and storage from my new build, which worked fine. This suggests the CPU, motherboard, or power supply might be the issue. I’ve checked the pins in both motherboard sockets and found no damage. The blue screens are rare, occurring only a few times daily, but Linux becomes unresponsive and freezes after short periods. The attached Windows mini dumps provide more insight. I’m seeking advice without overspending further, just looking for guidance to confirm these findings.
