Hello! I want to mention that my internet service provider isn’t very reliable, and that’s the main reason here. The issue is that certain websites aren’t loading properly. Most sites function normally, but only a few seem to be affected. I quickly assumed the problem was related to DNS settings. I’ve switched servers several times, cleared the cache, yet it still doesn’t work. For this example, I’ll use netflix.com; when I enter it in my browser, nothing happens. Twitch.tv loads but takes a long time—sometimes more than three to four minutes—and at other times it fails entirely. Other platforms like Google and YouTube are working perfectly. Below is a tracert showing the path to netflix.com. You’ll notice it timings out after hitting various servers, and a ping also shows 100% packet loss. Is this connected to DNS problems or an IP issue? Are there any solutions I can try? As you mentioned, I’ve tested multiple DNS configurations without success. Thanks for any help!

Check your connection type—AT&T or another service—and whether you're using a mobile data plan or a wired line like DSL or cable.

I work with a local firm named TEC. They might be reselling AT&T services. It's a fixed-line DSL connection.

It seems TEC relies on AT&T as a peering partner to reach the broader internet, which explains why the problem isn't there. I believe the issue might stem from any filtering or ACLs they enforce, perhaps for parental controls or other services. It would be best to reach out to them directly for clarification. By the way, offering 24/7 local customer support is a great feature for an ISP.

Tracert isn't functioning because the target 52.22.22.163.117 is unresponsive to ping. I recommend contacting the ISP for assistance.
