Issues with internet performance on a brand-new PC using Windows 11.
I recently assembled a new PC, yet internet performance over Ethernet seems inconsistent. File transfers lag significantly and often stall. Websites load slowly or fail to finish completely, while videos on platforms like YouTube display low resolution and frequently buffer or stop. Speed tests show downloads matching expectations, but uploads hover near zero. Oddly, streaming on Twitch or playing games in servers doesn’t trigger warnings—once connected, ping remains low and lag disappears during gameplay. This issue appears exclusive to Windows 11 launches. Switching to Linux via a bootable Ubuntu USB resolves all connectivity problems, including websites and video playback. I’ve attempted a fresh Windows 11 install without success so far. Assistance would be greatly appreciated!
