Whenever I increase the clock speed of my GTX 950, I notice red spots on the screen and the game crashes. I’m not sure if I’ve made a mistake, but could you offer some advice?

Certainly, the device appears to be intact. The voltage limitations seem insufficient for high-speed performance. Overclocking depends on chance and outcomes differ from person to person. For instance, I use my GTX950 at 1505MHz without any issues. Others might succeed while others face problems. I wouldn't suggest changing the card's voltage; instead, look for a consistent overclock within the standard range.

Edin Abdic shares his experience: whenever he overclocks his GTX 950, he notices red spots on the monitor and the game closes. He is unsure if he made a mistake but wonders if advice would help. His system specs are GTX 950 i5 2400 3.1 ghz, 8 GB DDR3, 1333 MHz, Cooler Master GX 600W. He mentions these issues are called 'artefacts' and happen when the GPU overclock isn't stable. He suggests trying to raise the voltage or lower the clock speed until no artefacts or crashes appear.

Does that indicate your graphics card is still intact? I saw a person on YouTube doing an overclock without any issues. When I just touch the voltage, red spots appear, and he overclocked it much more than I could.

For instance, I only set my GTX950 to 1505MHz without any issues. Others might succeed while some may face problems. +100 core clock
+240 memory clock is all i could tweak.i still run the gygabite OC edition (with 2 fans) .
But okay, this is the most stable clock for me and i will use it.Thanks for your help.
