Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a persistent issue that's been happening for more than a month. Whenever I run GTA5, it crashes to the desktop. It worked perfectly for about 28 hours of gameplay. Now it keeps crashing every time. I've reached out to Rockstar support, who guided me through several troubleshooting steps. I checked my PC, drivers, and software—everything seemed up to date. I monitored temperatures, replaced the CPU cooler, tested RAM multiple times, and stressed both CPU and GPU. All hardware tests passed. The game was installed via Steam, so I'm trying to launch it that way now. I'm unsure what's causing this anymore. I'm currently preparing a fresh Windows 10 installation, but after the problems began, I also did a fresh install of Windows 11 and the same issues resurfaced. I'm leaning toward going back to Windows 10 since I prefer it more. Any advice would be appreciated. I initially thought it might be a RAM problem, but now I'm not so sure. I do have a copy of a launcher log file and an Msinfo report from before the PC wipe last night—hope that helps. Thanks!

I believe that's the one we were discussing. Have you attempted using DDU? Be sure to disconnect the internet until you install the new drivers.

I completed it before. Both the previous setup and the latest one. Starting over this evening and checking the results.

I did that last night. However, when I downloaded the game it was too late to play it. I think I’ll try tonight. I’ll update you soon.
