I'm not sure if I put this thread in the right place, but it doesn't seem to matter much. When I play GTA V and Firefox is open, I notice some serious stuttering in the game. Others can see me stutter during multiplayer sessions. What could be causing this? Is it the RAM, CPU, or maybe the GPU? It happens even when just Reddit is running. My system specs are listed in my profile. Thanks!
It seems like your connection might be affected by the game you're playing, but I'm not sure if Fire Fox is causing the issue. If you're on SP, I don't have enough information.
As KDub mentioned, verify drivers and also test with different web browsers to see if the same problem appears.
This game really tests CPU performance. It's the first I've played where my Xeon E3-1231v3 and GTX 970 struggle to maintain steady 99% GPU usage without VSync. Mostly it stays around 96%, with occasional drops to 83%–88%. It frequently falls to 92%, and only hits 99% when inside a building.
