I'm not sure if anyone else has faced these problems with GTA V on PC. I've got a 1070 overclocked system with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 and a 1080p display. Everything seems to tear when I enable VSync, but it works sometimes. When I switch to NVIDIA Control Panel and enable G-Sync in windowed or full screen mode, the frame rate stabilizes at 60 FPS. It's unusual to see such inconsistency, and I'm curious if others have similar experiences.

Laptop? I faced the same problem. You seem to have a better GPU than me, but fixing V sync resolved it for me. Did you restart GTA5 after enabling V sync?

Laptop works okay now after restarting with VSync, though it was pretty unstable before. I didn’t expect much consistency, so I gave up hoping for a better experience. The GPU doesn’t seem to be the issue either—I’m getting around 140 frames with my OC 1070 and it still stutters.

Notifications were off, perhaps try Gsync with full normal settings. That’s what I use, and I don’t really notice any change from high to normal.
