I discovered the problem with the fix. The approach involved performing a fresh Windows setup and adding drivers individually. ntdll.dll Application Error Helldivers 2 - Microsoft Q&A

CMOS cleared, RAM re-seated, ran memtest86 with no issues. Erased drive, reinstalled Windows from zero. Updated drivers to remove any pre-installed windows interference. Experienced another crash. Error code 0xc000000d detected – fault offset 0x000000000006f82f. Process ID 0x384. Two error messages appear in the application section of Event Viewer, spaced a second apart. The game stalls briefly before returning to the desktop.

It appears as a one-off issue that will require replacing parts individually to figure out. You mentioned it affected several games, not just one. It seems to have begun after installing Fortnite and persists even after a drive wipe. I’d suggest checking for BIOS corruption with an update—it’s happened before.

Just started using it after an eight-month break. I'm planning to apply a BIOS update. Turning off freesync seemed to help, but another crash occurred.

Recorded peak performance during extended sessions. Managed to enjoy Helldivers 2 for many hours, followed by Arc Raiders, and then experienced a crash midway through my initial mission in Helldivers.

Curious about your setup? Let me know the motherboard, PSU, and CPU you have installed.

Had another crash, but BIOS seems updated properly. Purchased the card I bought; how can I verify it’s operating at the standard specifications? MSI MAG X670E Tomohawk Ryzen 5 7600 Corsair SF850L

You can try tools similar to MSI Afterburner to check if reducing clocks or power limits makes a difference. If those adjustments improve things, it could indicate degradation or a malfunction.

It seems you might have gone too far with the voltage, which made things worse. I'm going to try a smaller power setting now.

Adjusting voltage on a struggling card often goes against common advice; typically, boosting power works better than lowering it. When silicon struggles, higher voltages tend to help. Reducing clock speeds in small increments of 50-100 MHz can reveal if the issue is stability with boost clocks.
