I was just looking into what others thought about GoG.com and Galaxy. So far, my experience has been quite negative. The customer service has been poor; it took more than three days to get a reply, which might be due to being new or the situation. For Witcher 3, there are reports of trouble redeeming Nvidia codes. After creating an account on GoG, the code was already claimed by Nvidia. Both Newegg and GoG mentioned that codes would be reset, but I haven’t seen anyone succeed with GoG. My Arkham Knight game was added to my Steam account via GoG, but it hasn’t worked as expected. I’m not sure if anyone has had success with GoG yet.

GOG is amazing for me, I bought the rayman series, Trine 2, Prince of Persia series, The witcher series except the 3, and some other games. It's simply a great experience.

Never experienced any issues before, though the Nividia codes are recognized as problematic. Probably a batch was removed via the grey market.

I haven't interacted with them before I redeemed my Wither III key, and everything went smoothly, so there are no issues to mention.

Super sketch! Although fair, they sent me the code through email with Newegg. Before that, it was a different experience. It let me log into Steam or GOG for Arkham Knight, which worked smoothly. In my library it was easy, but with GOG it wasn’t so straightforward. I might try another code and give it a shot.

I believe the Nvidia matter is probably separate from GOG. I assume the software released physically was eventually tampered with at some stage in the process.

It's intriguing since the coupon I possess demands you remove a specific code. I'm unsure, so I'll attempt it this evening—tired from all the hassle. I've been working to get my game back for two weeks.

They're not unfamiliar with this scene. Witcher 3 marks their first major title likely to be exclusive on GOG (drm free). I've seen delays in updates as well. My problem is small—just a username change—but I appreciate their approach. Galaxy appears to be a solid alternative on Steam. The interface looks much improved. GOG has faced its own challenges with Witcher mods, such as certain retailers (like greenmangaming) offering questionable discounts. CD Projekt Red has stated they didn't provide codes for that release.
