Issues with games on the second NVMe drive are occurring!
Hello everyone, I've been using a Sabent Rocket 1T for about two years and needed more storage, so I upgraded to a Sabent Rocket 4.0 2T. However, games often crash after roughly 15 minutes. I'm running an Intel X570 with Wi-Fi enabled. I've updated the BIOS and the Sabent says I'm on the latest firmware. The only thing I'm considering is checking for lane sharing, but I'm not sure how to do it. Also, my boot drive is in slot 1 and my new NVMe drive in slot 2 with the GPU in PCIe slot 1, which might cause lane sharing I'm not aware of. I haven't found a clear solution in the manual yet. My specs are: Asus X570 + Wi-Fi 3700X Taichi 5700XT 32G 3600 trident Z Sabrent Rocket 1T Sabrent Rocekt 4.0 2T CX750
You probably configured the drive correctly and installed the titles. Have you attempted to clear the CMOS? This will reset the BIOS settings.
I checked the team viewer after a crash during download. Both failed at the same time. Over the past day there were 48,000 warnings in Event Viewer, all with Event ID 51 and source disk. It doesn’t seem like my drive—my last order had issues too, with a 980 EVO that was returned. I’m on lane sharing but don’t know how to fix it since my PCIe x16 components are all the same. My thought is swapping the NVMe drives: move the boot drive to M2_2 and the new drive to M2_1.
