I've been preparing for a long time to assemble the PC of my dreams, researching what would keep up with my gaming needs for the next 7 to 10 years. This was my first build, and I poured a lot of effort and enthusiasm into making it powerful enough to handle any game. In July, everything ran flawlessly, even during the most demanding titles like Cyberpunk and Cod without any lag. Then, about three weeks ago, I started playing Palworld on a dedicated server with my new PC. To keep it running smoothly, I had to keep it on constantly so everyone could join the session across different shifts. Initially, everything worked perfectly until someone reported that the server was down. I tried restarting it, but it would close after just ten minutes of gameplay. Forums mentioned the game was still in alpha and certain changes might cause crashes. Eventually, the server shut down completely. Now I’m stuck with Rust, which crashes after about ten minutes of use. After checking my RAM usage, I realized it spiked to 25GB or more during Rust sessions—way beyond normal levels. Even after closing the games, my RAM stayed at around 9GB. I ran Memtest86 and found no problems, but the GPU still showed occasional spikes and CPU stayed between 40-80%, which is typical. I updated all drivers, tried Windows Diagnostics, but nothing clarified the issue. I’m frustrated—this was the PC I dreamed of owning, and now I’m back to playing games that don’t work. I’ve spent a lot of money and time, and I’m at a point where I need guidance.

Windows reserves memory even when not in use. This might be affecting RAM. Have you checked and updated your drivers? Also, look at your system temperatures. Consider running a performance test like Heaven Benchmark to see if it causes issues.

I try the simplest approach by using Malwarebytes to check for viruses or malware. If the issue remains, I consider reinstalling Windows.

I've refreshed all my drivers... the system crashed right away. I'm planning to reinstall Windows since that seems to be the common solution.
