Hey, your setup looks solid with the i7 3600k and GTX 1070. You’re experiencing FPS drops or spikes when messages appear, especially in windowed mode on Steam or Discord for games like League of Legends and Osu!. In fullscreen it works fine. It seems the issue happens with multiple messages in a row. I’m not sure when it started, but it’s been happening lately. Thanks for sharing your setup!

The message might make the game run quietly in the background. If that happens, the performance drop should remain consistent.

I've also used borderless. Still facing the same issue.

It seems like you're questioning a situation and wondering why it behaves that way.

It works the same whether you're using windowed or fullscreen. When it switches to fullscreen, there are no performance issues or frame drops.

It seems the notification was set up as a regular app rather than an overlay. This might be causing the issue. You could try adjusting the settings or seeking advice from others on the forum.
