Curious if anyone can assist me, I play multiple games such as valorant, csgo, rocket league call of duty, among others. My setup includes an i9900k, rtx 2080s, 240hz alienware monitor, 16gb g skill with 3600mhz ram, and a gpu running at base clock with cpu at 5ghz. There are no issues reported. The problem arises when the game doesn’t seem to run at the expected refresh rate—rocket league solid feels like 180hz, and valorant caps at 245, but setting it to 240 directly makes the game choppy and unpleasant. My motherboard is a ROG maximus hero XI with the latest firmware, default settings, recently cleaned Windows installation, yet still experiencing these same problems. Any suggestions?
