About a month ago, after cleaning my gaming PC and updating it to Windows 11 Pro on an SSD, I started experiencing performance issues while playing games like Valorant or Minecraft. The FPS would drop sharply, especially when moving the mouse, though the game itself ran smoothly. Mouse input seemed to lag below 30 FPS, and it took time for the cursor to appear. I’m not sure if the problem is with my GPU. Additionally, last week I faced a Blue Screen of Death when closing Valorant, which took longer than expected. When streaming YouTube while playing, videos would pause and need time to load again. Closing games also caused noticeable delays. PC specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TrulyVibing/saved/kXm2mG

Are your graphics card drivers sourced from the EVGA site and labeled as version 536.40? If you downloaded them directly from Nvidia, problems might arise. It looks like the AIB team is adjusting the drivers for their products. Wishing you success!

Check if the Discord In-Game overlay is active while using your mouse. This setting can affect FPS performance in many games.

My driver comes from GeForce Experience. Problems began about two or three updates back. You might be correct. Also, during Minecraft sessions, does the GPU need to handle 3D tasks at roughly 90% capacity?

This varies. While I don't play Minecraft directly, many titles utilize various GPU components. There are numerous 3D, Copy, video encoding and decoding tasks that rely on the GPU. Clicking the arrow next to Copy reveals several graphs illustrating different GPU demands. Cuda is one technology used in some games, but it won't appear in standard reports or usage stats. Therefore, Minecraft not running at full capacity isn't unusual.
